know me

I’m Leslie (they/she), a postpartum doula and educator who’s been supporting babies, parents, and growing families for over a decade. I bring a trauma-informed, inclusive approach to every part of my work. As a queer, Latina care provider, I’m passionate about creating spaces where all families feel seen, respected, and supported—no matter what their path to parenthood looks like. My work is rooted in community, equity, and the belief that everyone deserves compassionate care and the chance to thrive in early parenthood.

  • Leslie's care for our newborn gave us invaluable time to sleep and reconnect with ourselves after three (nearly sleepless) nights in the hospital. Their tips and guidance helped fill in the gaps and build our confidence as parents - from diaper sizing suggestions to bottle washing tips and beyond. They taught us soothing techniques, paced bottle feeding, how to safely wear our baby, how to understand our baby's hunger cues, and what active sleep looked/sounded like. I am so grateful for all the wisdom and support they offered in those early days, which laid the groundwork for a smooth transition into parenthood. In addition to all of that, they helped with laundry and dishes, adding more ease to this time of big changes.
